RemodelOn is a residential remodeling company specializing in basement finishing, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling and whole house remodeling.

We are looking for skilled carpenters with at least 5-years of fine carpentry experience. Your responsibilities would include overseeing on-site workers and effectively follow direction given by on-site managers. You would have to have excellent communication and leadership skills, finish carpenter experience, be a team player and have the ability to engage and professionally interact with clients, company employees and subcontractors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and high-quality carpentry craftsmanship
• Adhere to construction site safety standards and our company's policy on construction safety
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders while lifting and manipulating heavy objects up to 75 lbs
• Ability to do work in confined spaces
• An extensive knowledge of carpentry power tools, including but not limited to a skill saw, miter saw, and jigsaw
• Basic plumbing and electrical experience is required
• Applicants must provide their own van/truck and tools
• Willingness/ability to work some weekends and night hours as needed
• Ability to work overtime hours when it is necessary to deliver projects on time
• A Minimum of 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience working in residential construction and renovation
• High school or equivalent education required
• Preferred but not required: NARI Certified Lead Carpenter Designation; EPA RRP Certified Renovator Certification a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of construction methods from the beginning of the project through to project completion
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, drawings, specifications, construction techniques and building plans
• Prioritize important tasks and to meet scheduled deadlines
• Install structures and fixtures: such as flooring, baseboards, moldings, cabinets, sinks, etc.
• Measure, cut and shape wood, plastic and other building materials
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, ceilings, floors, door frames and window frames
• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or any other structures or fixtures
• Hang, finish drywall and painting
• Install light fixtures, wiring, outlets and switches
• Install plumbing fixtures, drain and water lines
• Install fan/exhaust systems and supply lines to the main ductwork
